OMC Shindig 2023
As mentioned at the December business meet, as a club we are keen to run an annual Shindig. We are looking for a volunteer to organise this in 2023 in October/November time.
This will not be as grand as last years postponed 70th celebration. It could be say a reasonable cost dinner at Birds and Bees with an awards ceremony for the annual best newsletter article, Boot and Ice Axe awards or perhaps a ceilidh and supper.
The volunteer would agree a suitable date, cost and format with the committee, make the bookings and publicise within the club with payments to the OMC by bank transfer. Should not be too onerous.
Any volunteers, please let me know by messaging me or you could see me at the pub tonight.
