Our guest speaker, tomorrow, Wednesday 12th April, has had to stand down owing to a "significant family emergency". We have sent her our best wishes and I'm sure Colin will try to re-engage her as soon as possible.

So, with Colin away, too, you have to put up with me as I am his standy-in but maybe you can help?

I have a short, homemade video of a climbing trip made complicated from my errors (and when I say homemade, I mean in a 'shed / Powerpoint / crap mic') and a small selection of images from the climbing which Louise and I shared in Saastal last year but these two 'entertainments' are hardly the makings of a good evening that would drag you away from 'Netprime', the latest edition of Corrie or Celebrity Slaughter House

You can make the evening better (or perhaps much, much better) by bringing with you up to 10 images and a story to accompany them; which will give your audience no more than a 5 minute story (and I mean 5 minutes!) of a walking/climbing/trekking/canoeing/sailing trip (ie: something adventurous) or an environmental commentary on what you've observed around our (or any) hills. If you are unsure of presenting to the Club may I assure you that your audience will be in a heavily sedated state if I can get to the bar before them....

Please bring your images on a USB stick, please, and we can load them onto the laptop ready for your 'Open Mic' slot.
