I've reluctantly come to the conclusion that my winter hill walking and climbing days are behind me, as a result I have some kit to sell. All the gear is safe ,in good condition and the climbing gear was used mainly on single pitch and cragging  and never hard used. I'd rather see the kit being used so any reasonable offer will be accepted.
1X 50mt 11 mm full rope, would be ideal for top roping.

1  Black Diamond BOD unisex Harness, medium size. excellent condition
1 Mammut El Cap helmet, excellent condition, I only used it twice for trips to the Alps
1 Deadmans plate + Large HB screw gate
Edelrid Shark crampons, multi attatchment systems, again excellent condition and used on 2 Alps trips. All the various components and instructions in the box
A pair of Mountain Technology axes with leashes. Axe is 50cm and hammer is 55cm. A bit old fashioned now but good up to grade 3. I will sell them seperatley if required.
1 Petzel Glacier Literide 50 cm Alpine weight ice axe. A superb light weight axe for the Alps and works great in Scotland too
1 pair of Salamon Super Mountain Expert, full shank, leather winter boots. size 8.5/9. Very warm on your feet.
1 pair of Aku Edge GTX Alpine Boots, size 9

I would be interested to know the date of manufacture or approximate date of purchase of the helmet. (I appreciate it is in good condition and am sure it's been well-looked after!)

I'm looking to replace my otherwise-excellent helmet that is a few years past the recommended safe(st) lifespan, so for my particular circumstances there is not much point in me making that swap if yours is more than 8-9 years old.

If it's young enough, I'd be interested to try it on tomorrow evening if you're able to bring it along. However, I don't need the replacement at all urgently so if someone else also wants it they should have it (at the right price of course)!

Hello Louise,
I bought the helmet in 2016 and used it for 2 Alpine trips in 2016 and 2017. It has been stored in its original packaging in my loft when not in use. As you know its exposure to UV light that causes deterioration to the helmet structure.. I haven't used it here in Scotland as I preferred to use My carbon fibre helmet when rock climbing . I'll bring it in tomorrow to let you have a look.
