The OMC now has an account with eBay! The idea of this is that folk pass me stuff to me sold on ebay. I will then list it, collect the monies, wrap and ship it. Folk can specify a percentage amount from the sale (after ebay/paypal fees etc) to donate to the club. The provider of the item gets the balance. To make this worthwhile, there needs to be £5 per item in it for the club. Should the item make <=£5 then 100% goes to the club. Items that sell well: Old Mobiles, MP3 players, digicams, PC/Laptop accessories, GPS, TomTom devices, laptops, CDs, DVDs, Specialist books (incl mountaineering), mountaineering/hillwalking kit etc. Note that bulky/heavy items (sofas, desktop PCs, old skool TVs) are not suitable! Since items take time to list, I reserve the right to refuse items that I don't believe will sell!
