Aye Happy Birthday Andy. Hope that you enjoyed your party last night in Glasgow, turned into a bit of a mini-meet really.
ps I did manage to get the bus back to Embra after missing the last train, home at 1.20am!
Cheers

Heh, good to hear you're not still hanging around Buchanan Street selling the Issue!
Public transport in this country could do with being a bit more, what's that phrase, "customer focused", couldn't it?

Re:Happy Birthday Andy 8 Months ago
I awoke this morning with no hangover thankfully, but with a few minor bruises and aches from last nights' workout. Must have sweated out all the beer! As all good atheletes should, we had a warm down session after the show in an, as it transpired fruitless, attempt to get John on his train back to Edinburgh. I had a nutritionally balanced pakora and chip supper on the train on the way home to Dunblane. I assumed Iain knew how to get to Buchanan Bus station from Queen St. Station ok and that my directions of "It's up thataway", whilst waving my hand in its' general direction would suffice.

Hope you all enjoyed the street theatre on Argyle Street before the show! (Mad Celtic fan woman chasing some guy, who'd shouted abuse at her and her partner, along the road.)

what is wrong with public transport in Scotland
it is perfectly user-friendly - nae bother

Queen street to Buchanan
Street - what is the problem even a blindie like me can do it
ten minutes walk
Up hill - a concept you like ........

maybe we should ice it over and put a few wee crags in the way to help Iain's navigation

Happy birthday Andy, hope you had a good gig last night.

That would have been a veggy meal you had then? Very healthy

p.s. is that us third in the league now?

Happy birthday, Andy. Good to see (if not hear) you on Saturday night- train journey home was obviously good training for your return from last night's gig.

With respect for your obvious love of our frankly piss-poor (for a rich country) set of systems, I don't think a guard refusing to reopen the doors of the last Edinburgh-bound train of the night for someone who's knocking in them - before the train has started moving - can be called user-friendly.
