Following the Ochils MC business meeting of Thursday 4th September, I have been instructed to write to inform you of the club's unanimous opposition to the proposal to raise the MCofS subscription for club members from £11 to £13.

I hope that this is acceptable as a "postal vote".

Hi Ian

I published a News item concerning the elections and subscription outcomes on the website yesterday at about 15.00.

The AGM minutes were approved by the President yesterday and published on the website at 10.15 this morning. You can find the minutes at http://www.mcofs.org.uk/agm2008.asp


I brought your letter to the attention of the Chair but as it was received after close of business on Thursday 4 September it was deemed not competent either as a voting intention under Article of Association 5.11.



As stated in the miuntes there was a discussion concerning subscriptions, with two club votes against. When voting cards were shown there was an overwhelming majority in favour, with some sizeable clubs voting in favour of the change.
