Who all is up for it? I have the Monday holiday and intend to stay down until then if the weather is okay. If the forecast is rubbish then would be happy to head somewhere else i.e. Lakes, Sutherland, Peak, Yorkshire etc. Any plans?

Checked with the camp site today. Cost is £6pppn regardless of whether you choose to double up or have a tent to yourself.
There is no need to book, just turn up.

Still hoping to make this meet. Weather not looking so good yet but hopefully to change. However, I have mangled my hand (finger specifically) and might not be able to climb. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it.

Had enough of hand jamming this week. It is a partial (two thirds) nail avulsion and general bashing. I have a set of those weird Mad Rock finger condoms on order. Weather is more of a concern, really.....

Somewhere in the UK will be dry enough for climbing hopefully...
From todays MWIS outlook:
"A deep low will track close to southern Britain early in the weekend, its envelope of rain extending into Scotland – probably only the south and east – although blustery
northeasterly winds will be widespread. On Sunday, it will gradually become dry with light winds from the west as a ridge of high pressure builds for the early days of next week."
Will keep an eye on it... that forecast sounds dire for Wooler though.

I did wonder the same... there's quite a few climbers who have not visited Reiff as yet. I'd take Monday off work if I was heading up that far...
Final decision Thursday ~4:30PM after the forecast comes out I guess.
