Findochty full. There is another site in Buckie called Strathlene. It is not very nice and on a main road. Other option would be Sandend, which is 5 miles the other way from Cullen.

Sandend has pitches available and is only a short walk from Logiehead (from the other direction). They also have statics, chalets etc. Price for 1 person tent plus car about £9 a night. Not sure if Sandend has a pub though as it is a tiny village....it would be a bit far for a stumble back from Cullen, too.

I would suggest that getting out climbing is more important than going to the pub. Sorry I cannae make it this weekend.

Agreed. That campsite is East of Logiehead, so the walk in is past a great ruin and along a lovely beach. All good really.

I'm not going to make it up north this weekend, sorry.
I have a few other things I need to do over the weekend now so not really worth going up for Saturday only.

No worries.

I am thinking that this meet is off anyway due to the lack of interested parties, and the expected sh1te weather!

If anyone was still up for it, shout, otherwise we will have a climbing meet in 2 weeks anyway.

Yeah. It is a shame but the story of the summer , weather-wise. Hope for a full regiment down at Wooler though.

Will have to put it to the vote where people want to go in two weeks time. It was originally Wooler this weekend, Cullin in two weeks. If people would rather goto Cullen in two weeks time they will have to shout.

The weather will have the final say anyway.

Hi

There may be a last minute contingent heading somewhere Fri eve or Sat morn weather dependant. Details will be posted here Fri @ 4:45PM. Thus far it looks like Scott, Lewis & Myself may be interested.

If it turns out that the weather is favourable for both sat and sun then Cullen is back on the cards, otherwise it will be somewhere closer.
