Stag dooooooooooo! 6 Months, 1 Week ago
Right folks it has been decided to have a wee quiet stag do at Glenmore campsite in Aviemore the weekend of Friday 30th May thru to the Sunday for a bit of climbing/walking/fishing/biking/whatever. All welcome.

Hi

Sounds good, count me in, but i'll prob head over yonder to join my work gang on their annual hill-walk on Sunday morn.

You know whether Glenmore will allow a camp fire?!

Edit: Jaysus - you seen the prices for Glenmore?! Its the BH weekend prices @ £18.60 per unit per night for up to 2 people. (i.e if you are in yr tent on yr tod then its £18.60/night) Loch An Eilien is cheaper at £3pppn but there ain't a pub nearby!!

Jings! Sorry folks! Looks like we're doubling up. I'll see if I can provisionally book some pitches in case it's really busy if I have an idea of numbers.
cheers

I should make it and have a rare Saturday off then to boot. Hope Nigel's wrong about the campsite prices!

On second thoughts, maybe Grantown would be a better choice: pubs within walking distance, choice of eateries, cheaper campsite. What do folks think?
Obviously a wee bit further to get onto hills though.
cheers

Hi John, It's your party.
Priorities might be :- price of campsite: Access to Pubs: Access to hills. In that order?
