The Ochils Mountaineering Club

Got home ok on Monday. Went for a coastal walk near Arisaig in hail showers and sunshine, then headed to Fort William. Fortunately Rod listened to the radio while Kai, Katharina and I went for a quick shopping foray and heard that the road between Glen Coe and Tyndrum was shut. We went for the alternative scenic route - Ballachulish, Castle Stalker, etc.

Took Kai and Katharina to Glasgow airport early yesterday morning (lots of debris on roads, fire engines about, etc). Got text about 2 hours later - Katharina managed to check in and was then told that the flight was cancelled. Kai made it as far as the security check I think and was then told that he would not be taking off. They decided to stay in Glasgow rather than coming back to Tilly as their flights had been moved to this morning.
