The sands of time are running out for the beloved Dunfy. The usual suspects will be over tonight about 8.

Yet again I had to miss the training last night.
However, I did speak to a duty manager about the bouldering room and was assured that it will survive the refurb.....so good news there.
The place could do with a total revamp though and I'm not sure if we as a club or we as individuals should be writing to Fife Leisure to ensure that the place gets some TLC. New mats, new holds, new routes...even the panels themselves can be turned round to give new feature problems (if you look carefully you'll see the screws are left visible for this very reason).

New routes? Steady on Tiger! It may well be worth putting together some kind of collective response to Fife Council, something to talk about next Wednesday. A low turnout last night, just myself, Scott, Nigel T, Lewis and Sarah. There were, unusually, three other non OMC people there. Hopefully a bigger number for the Linlithgow Wall on the 17th December.

The club secretary should write an official letter re. safeguarding the future of the Carnegie Centre bouldering room. I'm sure if it was brought up at the next business meeting something would be done.  |
