This weekend sees the first ever Glasgow Mountain Film Festival.

The following information came from Oliver Metherill.

"We've scoured the planet to bring you the very latest, and the very best in mountain film.

KING LINES
Follows Chris Sharma on his quest to find the planet's greatest climbs. From South American fantasty boulders to the sweeping limestone walls of Europe.

FREE COURSES AT THE GLASGOW CLIMBING CENTRE

We've got together with Glasgow Climbing Centre to offer 18 places on their legendary introduction to rock climbing course (worth £90 each) on the 9th March. Courses start at 10.15am, 12.15pm and 3pm. Suitable for anyone aged 8 upwards, they normally cost £90.

However, on the weekend of the Glasgow Mountain Film Festival these taster sessions are completely free. Please telephone 0141 427 9550 to book your place (subject to availability) and mention GMFF."
