The London Mountaineering club has taken out all the spaces in the Naismith Hut in Elphin over the week of May 23-30. However due to a lot of other meets taking place around the same time we've not managed to fill all the spaces, so we have 2-3 spaces going free to the first persons interested. As Assynt is a long way from London I thought it may be worth asking around other Scottish based clubs to see if they may fancy taking these spaces for some or all of the time. I'm contavting Ochil MC first as we've booked your hut in Crianlarich in November - so this is a way of saying 'thank you' I don't need to tell you about how beautiful Assynt is - but a few words about the London MC. We're a reasonably(?) young gang on this meet - average age c.32 - and will be doing a variety of walks, scrambeles and climbs in and around the area. We've hired 2 cars - so if there is interest, having your own car would be useful. The cost would be GBP 6 ppn, We'd obviously prefer people to stay for the duration of the meet but staying up for a few days is also OK.
