A reminder that this Thursday there is a talk & slide show at the Rugby Club. Andy Moffat will be telling us of his trip to Nepal to climb Mera Peek. A must for all you would-be Himalayan expeditioners, as well as those of us who enjoy the adventures of others.

Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal at a height of 6,476m/21,246ft. It is situated on the edge of the famous Khumbu region, which is dominated by Mount Everest.

The evening starts at 8.00pm. The talk will be preceded by a short 'general meeting', where new members can be proposed, and any items of special interest can be notified to members.
