"Heavy snow showers, blizzards and whiteout Hail and above 600m snow, as heavy showers affect particularly northern hills. Showers may well merge to give 2 or 3 hours of very
severe conditions – heavy snow and whiteout. Risk lightning."

"Hail and above 400m snow showers will be frequent across Sutherland and perhaps on west coastal hills. Risk general snow far north by dusk"
