1) Tiso Stirling have in stock the last pair of last year's range of the La Sportiva Evo 'Celeste' / Women's Size 42 selling @ £60 (reduced from £180).I haven't a clue what the 'celeste' does for the boot but the snazzy blue colour will soon dampen down with good ol' bog trotting.

I often find that the women's last in climbing boots is a better fit for my broad foot but these were just a wee bit too broad. The boot is however fae an excellent stable and the sale price is superb!

2) Andy Cave is speaking at the Edinburgh Book festival on 17/09 @ 2030hrs. I understand the rpices are around £8 which is excellent comapred to the usual fee that the ubiquitous Lecture Tour / Mountaineering festival prices grab you for.
